Three years ago I was inspired by a tiny hatchling turtle. My daughter and I had volunteered with Wildlife Sense to rescue these little hatchlings and ensure they made it to the sea.

This book is about her journey to the ocean and her feelings along the way. There will be pages for children to draw and write on, to express their feelings in similar situations. This will help break down those barriers and help parents and caregivers to communicate and chat about feelings.

With the University of Essex, in Colchester, where I completed my MA in Psychodynamic Counselling, I raised money to self publish this book. I am hoping this will become an important communication tool for little ones. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed!
